.............."What
choice does a person have if her fiancée meets with
an accident? If her only child gets three red marks despite
heavy expenses on tuition. Her sister-in-law comes for dinner
with her family unexpectedly when she is running high fever
and the servant is on leave.
In
spite of her best efforts her subordinate becomes her boss.
Half of the staff suddenly goes on leave when there is an
urgent assignment to be completed. Does the person really have
a choice?".............

............."It
was the fourth consecutive meeting of all the board members
in one month. The agenda was to re-discuss the new multi crore
oil project with the group president."
"I
feel nobody is worried how things are progressing. If the
board members don't feel the stress of this new project then
how can the consultants, engineers, and technicians?"
said the worried group president in a disappointed voice.
"This
clearly portrays that nobody around here is feeling the responsibility.
Aren't you worried if the prestigious project is not completed
in time? In that case, we would be nowhere", he displayed
more of his emotions in an endeavor to generate motivation.
Like other three meetings, this one also ended with an emotional
lecture from the worried group president who completely forgot
his responsibility to discuss the constructive and essential
details concerned with the project.
Most
people confuse responsibility with worry. Do they really go
together? Is worry unavoidable when there is responsibility?
Do the journey of life and the journey of worry have a common
goal?"..................

............."Let
us look back at the good old days. When we passed class I,
we didn't repeat class I but instead preferred to go to class
II. Needless to say, class II was tougher than class I. Had
somebody forced us to repeat class I, we would have felt insulted
and humiliated. Even in early childhood, we had all preferred
to undertake something tougher than before. It seems as if
we loved problems.
Something
tougher, something bigger, something grander than you have
thought of or felt is indeed a complement on the competence
you have shown in the past! And you sure feel honored for
the complement. Of all the people, you were the only one selected
for that bog a task.".............
