Day 1 saw some 700 inmates. On Day 2, the numbers increased to 800 & on Day 3 to 1000. Day 4 saw some 1100 inmates with Day 5 seeing some 1500 juveniles – the most difficult of all the groups, in the words of the prison authorities.

How did even they listen with full concentration and discipline was the most surprising for the organizers. THIS IS DR CHOPRA’s Charm & wit & exactly knowing what to talk to with whom! For the series Dr Chopra picked up the “Divine Power Within You” dimension of a Stress Free Living in the prison environment.

The juveniles were more than impressed with him talking of how they can make their destinies as this is the right time for that and how they can begin planning for it right now so that once they are out, they are working towards their desired successes.

In their own words-

“The prisoners have been given elaborate lesson on strengthening of Inner Mind through prime concentration. Live demonstration was made to provide practical example of the very truth that the ultimate strength of our body rests in our Inner Mind and the same could be activated only by concentration. Once the concentration takes its shape in our inner mind, the entire strength of our body is activated and under such condition no external force could affect us. Visibly the body is out of any sensation at the prick of an all-pin and other external force. The moment the Inner Mind gets its strength through concentration, the body becomes steel-like and cannot succumb to any weight or pressure.

This has given ultimate lesson to the prisoners of this jail and they are being benefited by this session on Stress Eradication.

I personally feel that it is a must programme for all the inmates as well as the staff.”
