Ms Harpreet Sethi has been an integral part of the team at
Institute of Corporate Management since the year 2001. It
brought about a new sense of the world to her - accepting
everything as it is as the first step in 100%
non-judgmental devotional acceptance - the spiritual
principle brought to the world with the researched & developed
by the Corporate Spiritual Mentor - Dr Rakesh Chopra. & then
moving ahead with full clarity in Divine merger for the personal
& organizational life goals. She has enjoyed enriching years -
educating, sharing, imparting learning to the middle & top
executives of the corporate world in particular & masses in
general..
She was handed over the reins of organizational (including
business) development in October 2006 by the Corporate Spiritual
Mentor himself. She carries a dual profile of being responsible
for ICM's future (goals & vision) & as a
Support Faculty &
Orientation Counselor along with the Corporate Spiritual
Mentor.
Harpreet has been a thorough human development supporter
encouraging a culture of introspection & pro-active action
beginning with self first.
She fully believes that spiritual development of oneself leads
to a balanced understanding of life & generates total
health lifestyles (health of body, health of mind,
health of soul, health of business, health of relations). In
order to overcome personal obstacles for meeting any project
with success, one needs ORGANIZED CLARITY about self & life.
Doing so will automatically lead to the generation of creatively
satisfying streams of personal wealth, & organizational
productivity & profitability. Therefore one-on-one mentoring
along with group session education interests her. She makes sure
that every participant gets the desired attention, & completes
his/her home-work in the workshops, with full confidence &
clarity.
Year 1998 served an interesting
turning point in her career - when she formally
chose to move away from Garment Manufacturing Technology to
Human Development. A simple but in-depth question,
"What should I be doing if the world comes to an end?"
….there would be no garment industry,
no need for garments as an urgency….Divine Wisdom &
ORGANIZED CLARITY to stand up again & accept the phenomenon
would be the most vital need of the time.
So why not work on that!!!!!!!.......not
that the world was coming to an end
but the answer made her to look into the most deficient
area of a human's development as a being. And
her organized management wisdom came in a lot handy.
Of all the options of human development
work in front of her, she chose to associate with
Fellowship of Activists to Embrace
Humanity (FATEH) at its Asia Chapter. This was
one organization - all fresh, all young (non-profit,
non-government, volunteer based), driven by young professionals
from across the international borders - who had already seen the
peak of their careers, & were now focused on making a devoted
difference by fostering
avenues for selfless service & human resource development
(rooted firmly in the spiritual principles enshrined in the
culture of 'love for all humanity' ) to combat social ills
including illiteracy, poverty, hunger, poor health & hygiene,
inequality & oppression. She realized her personal vision while
still at FATEH - which in fact led to her introduction with the
Corporate Spiritual Mentor in the year 2001. It was interpretation
of those same spiritual principles of 'love for all humanity'
into management in order to add DIVINE Comfort in the
lives of people so that the principles enshrined there are aptly
reflected in all the living dimensions of a person -
professional, personal, social - giving them the power to leave
a blissful mark in the world for the betterment of humanity.
She believes in living a centered life in full Divine expression
(enjoying the material world through spiritual merger). Her
personal inclinations are towards writing, visualization of
concepts in the most original entertaining manner possible to
make learning fun & in-depth, witnessing life around, & styling
of interiors (both mind & physical spaces). She rarely lets
go of an opportunity to be with younger generation for
instilling in them the power of self- acceptance &
self-appreciation, helping maintain their sense of wonder
at the same time. She lives in New Delhi at the moment.
